This is a page from a mini comic I'm making. It's about being haunted by a really terrible ghost. It's going to be great.

Here's another one of my teachers on the left, she's always telling us really weird and personal things. And on the right is a girl in that class who I hate.

The only drawing I did over break was when I was at the DIA. I'm in the gift shop for extended periods of time cleaning audio guides, or up at the front taking tickets. During the lulls, I filled half a sketchbook.

Here's a picture of the donkey statue that I've drawn 700 times because it's the only thing in entrance hall to the exhibition. And a lost grandma.

Here's a guy with a really large forehead being really happy about his visitor map.

Here's bird I copied out of an encyclopedia.

Winter break! It's good to be home and family and blah blah blah.

Basically all I've done is pet the dog and then go back to sleep, on repeat. The dog apparently has a displaced hip plus arthritis? In addition to everything else that's wrong? So she's allowed on the couch now. So I watch TV while I pet the dog also.

I drew a sadface on a post-it note pad last night because I was trying to fix my parents computer and I don't know how to fix computers at all. It was just a regular post-it note pad, but then when I woke up this morning it looked like this because the dog tried to eat it.

GET IT THE POST-ITS ARE SAD BECAUSE THEY ARE EATEN.

My new project is making these cake balls. My mom gave me the ingredients and told me to get into the christmas spirit and then she went to bed. So I've been trying to construct them. I baked a cake and then crumbled it up in my bare hands into a bowl, which was GREAT, and then added some ingredients like apricots and now I am trying to use this tool

melon baller???

to form them into these gross balls.

It is taking forever so I wrote a blog about it as a break.

Pets in buckets.

This is my final piece for this semester of studio. I started just drawing puppies in buckets, but then I moved on to kittens in flower pots. I didn't scan them in order though. The concept is: people like to put their pets in things and take pictures of them and put those pictures on the internet. Then I go on the internet and look at them, and I enjoy it. Then I drew them and put them back on the internet. Don wants me to work on concepts.

Not Stella

Saturday I went to Ann Arbor with some friends to see Stella

EXCEPT I didn't buy a ticket online and we got there too late and I stood in line and then they were sold out. So everyone I came with, plus my 2 roomates who came seperately, all saw Stella, and I walked sadly away into the snow and found a coffee shop

and I was really crabby and I ordered a cup of tea but there were so many kinds and I had an actual snarl on my face when I said please just give me the plain one and I feel really bad because the barista didn't deserve a mean customer just because I didn't buy my ticket with everyone else.

Anyway I just drew pictures of strangers for 2 hours and most of them caught me spying on them but I was too crabby to care.

blog

Just because I'm an American now doesn't mean I should have stopped posting in this crummy blog.

I'm going to try to be dedicated. We're making all of the zodiac signs in my Illustrator class, and we have to learn all the different techniques so some of them look terrible but some I like a lot. Here are some:

Capricron

Pisces

Leo
