blue checkered shirt

Here's some sketchbook stuff.

Sitting on the train, working at my retail job, and drawing pictures about both is a pretty good representation of my life right now.

This guy was sitting on the train next to me drawing a comic on a pad of paper. The comic was about his life, I guess. He was bad at it. He only drew one panel and it was just a picture of a guy with the words "Today I wore my blue checkered shirt." He either saw me drawing him and got self conscious, or just realized that it was a stupid thing to make a comic about.

This lady was cool.

How interesting do you think whatever this guy was saying is?

Dear Diary

I saw this guy on the train the other day, with this blue book that said "This Day Belongs To You!" on the cover, set in a Curlz-esque font. I could see that the book was full of writing, a diary, filled all the way to the last page. This guy was just flipping through it with the most serene look on his face. My first thought was that he had stolen the diary, because the only thing that I could think of that would inspire such a look of serenity on MY face would be reading about someone else's problems. But maybe he was just some peaceful man-child without any worries in the world. He had a pen out and was making brief little notations.

This day belongs to you, sir.
